a little respect goes a long way

we’re not machines that dispense art in return for kindness, maybe try to keep that in mind about how we might feel instead of feeling bad because you’re not entitled to free art.

You can’t force love, I realized. It’s there or it isn’t. If it’s not there, you’ve got to be able to admit it. If it is there, you’ve got to do whatever it takes to protect the ones you love.

I would like to request the presence of Darcy in any future Avengers movies, if this has not already been taken care of.
I want her in a room with Tony Stark. Just a couple of minutes.
I NEED it.
EDIT (because it came to me while I was dusting):
Darcy: “Aren’t you a little old for this stuff?”
Tony (pointing at Steve): “Uh, he’s literally like a hundred years old.”
Darcy (eyeing Cap): “Yeah, but they kinda froze him at ‘peak freshness,’ you know?”

Wolves fighting for dominance as a “thing” came from observation of captive packs.  Observation of genuinely wild packs has revealed that it is not, in fact, a “thing.”

Y’hear that, ya dumbass modern werewolf writers?

hear that, self-styled “alpha males”?

They weren’t even captive packs, they were a bunch of unrelated wolves shoved together in too-small a space.

THIS THIS THISThis is why “dominance theory” when training dogs is a bunch of crap. Your dog does not want to “dominate” you!

You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.

What really scares me is that they all have significantly cheaper health care AND education, which means Americans not only make they least, they pay the most.

…wait, what?

As a note, the asterisk next to Canada is because it’s set by the province, not Ottawa. (Also, this is old — the lowest is now $9.95, and the highest is $11.)

Minimum wage for people 18+ is $10.25. A lot of places pay a little more. $9.95 is the minimum wage for people under 18.

A couple of times in your life, it happens like that. You meet a stranger, and all you know is that you need to know everything about them.
